On March 12, 2012, the nationally famous 15K Gate River Run (now recognized as the largest 15K in the USA) was held in Jacksonville, Florida.  The first Jacksonville River Run (now Gate River Run) was held April 1, 1978.  This year, a Junior River Run was held for Boys and Girls 9 and under and Boys and Girls 10 to 13.  

My wife and I attended the first River Run (see photo above).
