JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The frenzy for Super Bowl Sunday is building and no where is that more apparent than among Chevy fans. Hoping to build momentum for its in-game commercials, Chevrolet has already released one of the ads that will be running. It's called "Chevy Happy Grad," an ad put together by 26-year-old Log Island resident Zach Borst.

Borst won Chevy's Route 66 Super Bowl ad contest. “We asked filmmakers to depict life’s journey and how Chevrolet is there along the way,” said General Motors Global Chief Marketing Officer Joel Ewanick. “When I saw Zach’s spot, I had to laugh, because the situation is something many families can relate to – expectation and reality. ‘Happy Grad’ clearly shows the passion that Chevrolet elicits.”

20 Chevys to be given away during Super Bowl

Chevrolet has also released a Super Bowl smartphone and tablet app in advance of the big game to take a run at social TV, which uses your electric devices to make TV programs more interactive. During the game app players will answer questions and polls for chances to win cars, tires, pizzas and other prizes. To drive downloads, Chevy says anyone that installs and registers the app before February 6 will be automatically entered for a chance to win a new Camaro.
