Jacksonville Sharks player LaRoche Jackson (Defensive Back) joined the ABA Jacksonville Giants for several days of basketball practice this week. LaRoche will play for the Giants on Sunday, February 19th, 2012, as the Giants 13th man.

The ABA rules allow for a celebrity 13th man to play in an ABA game. LaRoche (born June 24, 1984) joined the Jacksonville Sharks as a free agent for the 2011 season. It was truly a blessing for LaRoche to have joined that season.
