Marble Slab Creamery has declared July 11, 2011, “Red Head Appreciation Day” to help celebrate the launch of the brand’s new Red Velvet Ice Cream.

All day on Monday, July 11, 2011, at participating locations, Marble Slab Creamery will give away a free scoop of Red Velvet Ice Cream to anyone who has red hair, no matter if its natural, dyed or a wig.

LongHorn Steakhouse at Regency is partnering with Duval County Public Schools (DCPS) to support district athletics. The restaurant is holding a fundraiser and silent auction on July 8th for “Save Our Sports”.

III Forks Hosts Complimentary Wine Tasting in July

III Forks Prime Steakhouse, in Tapestry Park, continues its series of weekly wine tastings. Each Monday from 5 to 6:30 p.m., patrons are invited to sample III Fork’s featured wines, and indulge in complimentary hand-passed hors d’oeuvres.

Guests will be able to enjoy a full glass or bottle of wine for half price. This month, III Forks will feature Banfi Cum Laude.

III Forks Prime Steakhouse is located in the live, work, and play hotspot, Tapestry Park, just off Southside Boulevard, north of J. Turner Butler Boulevard. Dining hours are Monday through Thursday: 5 – 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday: 5 – 11 p.m.

Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront’s Annual 4th of July Bash on Monday, July 4th from 7:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. is a perfect opportunity for the entire family to come out and rock the night away with a front-row seat to Jacksonville’s fireworks spectacular. The event will feature Spanky the Band, one of Jacksonville’s premiere rock bands, with food and beverages bountifully available.
