Supervisor of Elections Reports Day 10 Early Voting Totals

Supervisor of Elections Jerry Holland announced 2,768 voters have cast a ballot on the Tenth day of Early Voting for Jacksonville's 2011 Unitary General Election.


As of Book Closing, April 18th, there are 518,620 registered voters in Duval County eligible to cast a ballot in Jacksonville’s 2011 Unitary General Election on May 17th. 2,768 voters cast a ballot at the close of business on Wednesday, May 11th, for an Early Voting total of 24,445. In addition, 21,054 Absentee Ballots were verified by signatures and have been validated to be opened and processed by the Canvassing Board. This brings the total number of ballots cast through Day Ten of Early Voting to 45,499, which is 8.8% of eligible voters.

Early Voting continues at ten locations throughout Duval County through Sunday, May 15th. The Supervisor of Elections office will be sending daily reports indicating the cumulative totals of the number of voters who have voted Early or voted by Absentee.
