Durbin Crossing Hosts Celebrate Success Realtor Event | People
Excitement was in the air as close to 200 Northeast Florida Realtors and guests attended the Durbin Crossing Celebrate Success Realtor Event. The evening cocktail event, held at the South Amenity Center in Durbin Crossing, provided Realtors with networking opportunities and the chance to learn more about the community’s premier builders. Realtors were honored for contributing to the tremendous success of Durbin Crossing and for making it one of the fastest selling communities in Northeast Florida.
“This was the perfect opportunity to say thank you to our Realtors for their hard work,” said Jason Sessions, Sessions Development. “It’s also a great way for Realtors to personally meet and get up-to-date on the latest information from Durbin Crossing’s premier builders.”
Builders who participated in the event included Advantage Homes, Dream Finders Homes, Drees Homes, D.S. Ware Homes, Holder Johnson Homes, Mattamy Homes, Mercedes Homes, Providence Homes, Richmond-American and Ryland Homes.
“We enjoy a special relationship with the area’s top Realtors. We appreciate them so much and never take for granted that they choose Durbin Crossing to bring their clients to,” said Susan Wood of Wood Development.
The builders in Durbin Crossing have reason to celebrate as they reported outstanding sales in 2011. Durbin Crossing has been the fastest selling community in recent quarters according to Metrostudy, the nation’s leading provider of housing statistics. St. Johns County continues to be the leader in North Florida for new home starts.
REALTORS® have paid particular attention to Durbin Crossing because, in addition to the excellent schools, convenient location and outstanding amenities which meets the needs of the majority of their clients, they see active construction in the neighborhood. Buyers often look for construction activity as a sign of a healthy community. Durbin Crossing is currently home to over 700 families and continues to grow in spite of a lagging economy.
