W. 19th shooting suspect in custody | News
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office announced an arrest Tuesday morning in the shooting death of a man found on West 19th Street Friday.
Eric Eugine Fuller, 22, has been charged with the shooting death of 24-year-old Carlton Derrick Hardaman, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
Hardaman was found dead when deputies arrived at the corner of West 19th and Wilson Street, according to JSO Det. Waters at the scene February 1.
Witnesses said they heard two gunshots and reported seeing Hardaman with a bullet hole in his head.
According to a police report from JSO, Fuller was in the custody of the Nassau Sheriff's Office when he allegedly confessed to the shooting death of Hardaman.
Fuller claims he allegedly shot Hardaman inside of a car while he was driving in the Grand Park area of Jacksonville and later dumped Hardaman's body on the side of the road, the report detailed.
