JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Clara White Mission served hot meals for Jacksonville's residents in need this Thanksgiving day.

Jacksonville Mayor Alvin Brown was among the volunteers on hand to serve this year.

The Thanksgiving breakfast service ran from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at 613 W. Ashley Street.

The mission has been helping the city's needy for 108 years.
Clara White Mission welcomes anyone who wishes to join their "mission" and volunteer their time. Clara White is also accepting canned food items for their holiday food drive.
