Jaguars Bite of the Day – From Jacksonville’s Daily Record, here is a profile of Peter Racine, the President of the Jacksonville Jaguars Foundation.  The foundation “provides grants and assistance for programs that support local economically and socially disadvantaged youth.”

College Nugget – The Florida Gators baseball team moved their record to 20-1 last night.  Florida, the nation’s top-ranked team, beat Stamford in Gainesville, 5-3.  It’s the Gators’ best start in school history.  They are an impressive 7-1 against top-25 opponents.  On Thursday, the Gators travel to Columbia, South Carolina for a three-game series against the Gamecocks.

Broadcasting Note – During Peyton Manning’s introductory press conference, the newest Denver Bronco was, of course, asked about Tim Tebow.

You Should Know – The Philadelphia Eagles acquired linebacker DeMeco Ryans from the Houston Texans for a fourth-rounder in 2012.  Ryans, 27, leaves the Texans as team captain and the team’s all-time leader in tackles.  The two-time Pro Bowl selection tore his left Achilles’ tendon in 2010.  He started all 16 games in each of his first four seasons.  Ryans had a reduced role last year due to more injuries and the emergence of Brian Cushing and rookie Brooks Reed.

Strange Thought of the Day – It’s been brought up many times how Tim Tebow can help the Jaguars sell tickets.  Could Tebow Mania improve ticket sales elsewhere?

Tweet of the last 24 hours – @caplannfl (Adam Caplan, NFL reporter and analyst) “There’s absolutely no reason for the Jaguars to pursue Tebow.  Gotta keep Gabbert on the field and see if he can handle the job.”

Stat(s) of the Day – On Tuesday night, the University of North Florida baseball team recorded 14 hits in an 18-2 victory over Savannah State.  The home win gives the Ospreys an overall record of 14-7.

Link of the Day – Wondering what incentives head coaches for the teams left in the Sweet Sixteen receive?  Ohio State’s Thad Matta has already racked up nearly $2.55 million.

Video of the Day – Baylor’s Brittney Griner led her team to a 76-57 victory over the Florida Gators.  Her dunk from last night will have fans talking for years.  It was only the second dunk in the NCAA Women’s Tournament history.

Question of the Day – Should Tim Tebow make a position switch?
