Three People Shot in Car, One Dies, Shooter on the Loose | News

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A search is underway for a shooter in northwest Jacksonville.

The shootings took place Sunday evening on the corner of Soutel Drive and Washington Estates Drive in front of a laundromat and a barber shop.

Three people inside a white Dodge Charger were shot, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's office.

One of the individuals, 29-year-old Bernard Ameen Cason, died at the scene.  The other two were taken to Shands, according to JSO.

The shooter is still on the loose and police have not released a description of the shooter just yet.
