Thousands of Fans 'Ready to Rise' for Jaguars | News
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Nearly 7,000 Jaguars fans showed up at the "Ready to Rise Rally" at EverBank Field Tuesday night.
They showed their support for owner Shahid Khan and head coach Mike Mularkey. Fans also gave a standing ovation to assistant head coach Mel Tucker.
Khan hosted a mustache contest as a nod to his own famous facial hair.
It already has been a busy offseason at EverBank Field - a new owner, a new coach and now a new chance for Jaguars fans to rally around their team.
Jaguars.com called the rally "the rebirth of the Jaguars."
The first 5,000 fans got a free Maurice Jones-Drew poster.
