Blackout Lifted for Jags' Monday Night Football Game
News

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Jaguars' Monday Night Football game will be televised.

The team got an extension to beat the clock and sell 4,300 tickets to avoid a blackout of Monday night's game against the Chargers.

The team had until Saturday to sell those tickets. The team has successfully used extensions several times this year to get home games on local television.

The team's future owner, Shahid Khan, in a statement said he would not be attending the Monday night game because of NFL business in New York.

The city has various events planned near EverBank Field on Monday to generate excitement for the game.
