JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- On Saturday, more than 500 racers will climb more than 830 stairs in the Bank of America tower in downtown Jacksonville for the American Lung Association's Fight for Air Climb.

"It's literally a fight for air," said spokesperson Nicola Barnack. "You struggle for air after you've climbed all 42 flights, and that's what the people we're raising money for go through every day."

They hope to raise more than $110,000 during this event, which Barnack says is their biggest of the year.

The event is Saturday morning at the Bank of America tower on Laura Street downtown.
