Public invited to paint Jaguar prints today | News
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Many people in Jacksonville had planned to go to the Jaguars' preseason home opener against Miami.
But if you did not make the game Friday night at 7:30 p.m., there is still a way to support the hometown team.
The JAX Chamber's Downtown Council is painting paw prints along Bay Street on Saturday morning.
The prints are meant to represent those of the Jaguars' very own Jaxson DeVille, the self-proclaimed number-one mascot of the NFL.
Every one is invited to meet at lot X of the shipyards at 8 a.m. Saturday.
Paint, brushes and stencils are provided, and it is free to participate.
The prints will spread from the Main St. Bridge to the entrance of EverBank Field.
It's a tradition that's been happening for 19 years.
