Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront Welcomes New Associate Director of Sales

Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront recently welcomed Brent Hill as its new Associate Director of Sales. Hill has more than ten years of experience in the hotel industry and will focus on driving convention and association meeting sales to the property.

As associate sales director, Hill will assist Senior Director of Sales & Marketing Pat Trammell, oversee the sales team, develop sales strategies and cultivate relationships with key people, businesses and groups in Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront’s client base.

“Brent has extensive experience handling groups sales and introducing groups to new markets and he knows the business inside and out,” said Dan King, Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront’s general manager. “He is a proven leader and we’re thrilled to have him as a part of our team.”

Hill previously worked at the Hyatt Regency Dearborn near Detroit from 2000 to 2007 and was most recently the Director of Group Sales for the Westin Book Cadillac Detroit for Starwood. He is also an active member of the Society of Government Meeting Professionals.

“I’m looking forward to bringing new groups to experience Jacksonville and all it has to offer,” said Hill. “Being involved with my community is very important to me, so I’m eager to get settled in and connect with some great local nonprofit organizations.”

Previously, Hill has volunteered with Big Brothers Big Sisters and as coach for youth baseball and soccer. In April, he was a part of a group of Hyatt employees that prepared and served 500 Easter dinners to the homeless at the Sulzbacher Center. Hill and his wife Kylie have two children.
