JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The chance of beating breast cancer increases significantly if caught early. Early breast cancer usually causes no pain and may cause no symptoms at all. That’s why First Coast News has teamed up with Baptist Health to encourage you and your buddy to make monthly self-exams and regular mammograms part of your health routine. Early detection saves lives! Schedule a mammogram in honor of Buddy Check’s 20th anniversary!
On Saturday, October 27th anytime between 11am and 2pm please join us if you are a woman:
• 40 years of age or older
• Live in zip codes 32202, 32204, 32206, 32208, 32209, and 32254
• Have a primary care doctor or clinic
• Have not had a mammogram in the past 12 months
• No previous breast pain or problems
Then YOU qualify for a free mammogram!
• The woman who brings the most women on this day who meet the criteria above will receive a special gift.
• Join us for light refreshments, manicures, massages as you learn more about caring for your breast and cancer prevention.
• We'll be set up at the following churches that have partnered with us:
