Supervisor of Elections Jerry Holland announces that the courtesy of curbside voting for physically handicapped voters is no longer permitted.

Curbside Voting was a courtesy the Supervisor of Elections staff would provide to voters who were unable to come into a precinct because of physical limitations. To assist these voters on Election Day, two precinct poll workers of different political parties would carry a ballot out of the precinct to the voter. Once the voter had marked his or her ballot both precinct poll workers would cast the ballot through the Optical Scanner like all other voters.

Have You Been E-Pickpocketed - Without Even Knowing it?

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- It can happen anywhere. In an urban shopping center like the Jacksonville Landing or a sporting event like a baseball game.

"Is this a good thing or a bad thing? " ask one cardholder.

Bad - it can happen right under your nose.

New technology used in smart cards, speed passes and newly issued passports make it easier for a pickpocket to steal your card information.

It is called electronic pick pocketing. Walt Augustinowicz, a former insurance executive, has the ability to walk through a crowd and pickpocket credit card information.

"The biggest vulnerability is the fact that they don't know," said Augustinowicz.

5-Year-Old Grabs Wheel from Unconscious Dad

Jacksonville, Fla. -- Authorities say a 5-year-old girl took the steering wheel and did her best to drive the car off the road after her father passed out.

The 2010 Camaro jumped a curb, ran over landscaping and crashed into a parking sign before it came to a stop Monday evening. A Jacksonville Sheriff's Office report indicates the child had a bloody nose and lower lip.

Officers found 40-year-old Mark Endicot Jackson unresponsive and staring at the ceiling. He later told officials he had taken Xanax and oxycodone earlier in the day.

Jackson was charged with driving under the influence while accompanied by a minor. He remained in the Jacksonville Jail early Wednesday, with bail set at $3,000. No attorney was listed on jail records.
